WHAT IS QIGONG?

Qigong is a holistic system of coordinated body posture and movement, breathing, and meditation used for the purposes of health, spirituality, and martial arts training. Qi (chee) here means 'energy'.

Tai Chi is an internal Chinese martial art practiced for both its defense training, its health benefits and meditation. Tai Chi is a form of Qigong. Chi (gee) here means 'Ultimate'
As Chungliang Al Huang puts it, Tai chi does not mean oriental wisdom or something exotic. It is the wisdom of your own senses, your own mind and body together as one process..
